About the event

‘All Mute Things Speak’ is a recital braiding poetry from the languages of Sephardi and Ashkenaz Jewry interwoven by Modern and Contemporary Composers from Canada, Israel and France including Osvaldo Golijov, Sid Robinovitch, Osnat Netzer and Maurice Ravel and poets Rosalía de Castro, King Solomon, Yuval Rabin, Rosa Nevadovska and some mysterious yet eloquent people whose names have been lost to history.

Curating this recital has been a decade-long labour of love. It took patience and perseverance to find these works and weave them into the program you will hear on February 17th.  Some of these works were written expressly for me by composer Sid Robinovitch, with others still arranged beautifully for my voice and piano.

I have the great pleasure of collaborating with pianist Daniel Seroussi.

Tickets are available by suggested donation of 20 euros at the door.
